Become a First Breath or My Baby & Me Provider

As a healthcare practitioner, your role is vital in the success of women who are trying to abstain from tobacco and alcohol use throughout their pregnancy and postpartum period.

When you become a First Breath/My Baby & Me provider site, the Wisconsin Women’s Health Foundation strives to give you the support and resources you need to effectively help your clients quit, including:

  • Smoking cessation training and practice in Motivational Interviewing and the 5A’s
  • Up-to-date information on maternal tobacco and alcohol use
  • Free self-help brochures and handouts to give to clients
  • Meaningful incentive gifts to give to clients who enroll in the program
  • Directories to public health resources across Wisconsin
  • Networking opportunities with other medical centers statewide
  • Ongoing technical support
