Award Amount:  Two scholarships of up to $750 each will be awarded

The Wisconsin Women's Health Foundation (WWHF) offers scholarships to licensed registered nurses for advanced training to complete Faith Community/Parish Nurse Basic Preparation Program Education. Support through scholarships can help increase the number of dedicated faith community/parish nurses available to underserved communities as health education and outreach partners.

Faith community/parish nurses have the unique opportunity to minister the physical, emotional, and spiritual facets of women and their families. They act as effective health advocates, health educators and counselors, referral agents, volunteer coordinators, and support group leaders.

Scholarship funds are to be used for costs related to tuition, travel, books and supplies, and are not available as reimbursement for completed courses.
